Welcome to Women at Worship, this is the seventh message of the podcast series titled ‘Women at the Time of the Bible’ by author Chantal R, Nielsen. This message explores the life of Leah, the unloved wife of Jacob and mother to six of his twelve sons, as detailed in the book of Genesis.
Throughout this message we highlight the blessing of children and explore how God blessed and loved Leah despite her husband favoring her younger sister, Rachel. We learn how God blessed Leah with many children and through her, provided the lineage for His own Son to come into the world, Jesus Christ.
